Wow, I didn't think I would ever get to this point.  I decided if I was going to blog, I was going to do it right.  I have spent the last few months researching and learning as much as I could about blogging.  I have such a passion for food and cooking but I wanted to make sure that I understood the world of blogging before attempting to start posting.  I can't say that I have learned everything that I need to know but my knowledge today opposed to a few months ago has increased tremendously.  I tried to design my site on my own but it proved to be too difficult and I decided to hire a designer.  I love the new look and the new set-up.  One of the things that I noticed in almost all of my research was the advice to self host and I have done just that and secured my own domain (gracessweetlife.com).  One thing that I learned through this journey is how warm and welcoming the food community is.  Everyone that I reached out to for assistance was quick to help and offer words of wisdom.

Update

     Just thought I would post a little update.  I have been working diligently on the layout of my blog and it is almost complete.  Hoping to put together my first few official posts this weekend.  I have been able to sweet talk my daughter, Liana, to share her photography talent with the world and she will be snapping photos of the recipes I have chosen to showcase in my first few posts.  I welcome any feedback on my site, what you think works and what you think doesn't work.  Looking forward to finally getting up and running. Thank you for your patience.
